Ive tried watching aew before and ive never been able to get into it but id be lying if i said mjf isnt the most interesting champ theyve had. His being off tv makes for a compelling story, i just wish the story could be something other than "please forget that we have a champion"

MJF is a theater kid playing the role of NWA heel champion. People like him because he is performing the role of what a heel wrestler was. His best programs were carrier by Cody and Phil. The third best thing he did was Wardlow but that was simple. You can always tell what MJF is doing is a performance though instead of ever suspending your disbelief.
