Smokey Mountain had enough fans to run house shows in the same towns every week. AEW can't even run house shows.

SMW did like 500 people per tv taping in the middle of nowhere, while AEW barely draws 2,000 in major cities, with a national cable deal.

It's actually really sad for AEW fans when you compare the two.

what does that even mean? sounds stupid as hell. a new promotion run by a record executive/fan. by the early 90s dozens of small promotions had shut down. it took ecw almost 10 years to get a tv deal and it only last one year before it was cancelled and ecw went out of business
