From what I understand, most of them don't actually have a reason why they hate him. They just hate him for the same reason they think anything, because TV and social media told them so. When really pressed I have been told that it is because he is transphobic, when I have asked how, they say because he wanted to stop bill C-16 in Canadia. When I explain to them how he was arguing that the police shouldn't be able to arrest you for misgendering someone they either out themselves as pig loving bootlickers who think more police powers are good or they back down. The funniest response I've had was one guy who I pressed for an answer, couldn't give one, then started going on about how Peterson is a 'mediocre academic at best', like that is why you all hate him so much? Also this guy dropped out of University 3 seperate times and never finished.
Personally I like Peterson's lectures and I think what he says about guys needing to man up is true, on the other hand I really don't like his religious or political beliefs. As in loving the Church and Capitalism. But I grew up in the Church so have enough experience to decide not to like it and I am a Communist so obviously I hate Capitalism so it is to be expected that we should disagree. Don't think he's a bad person though.
