Only way Hunter goes to AEW is if he has a contact or two in Discovery that outright FORCES Khan to hire Hunter and give him complete creative control over booking/hiring at AEW along with veto power to crush any and all uprising the Elites and Jericho would throw at him to force him out ala Punk and FTR.

Because if the Elite don't try and straight up murder Hunter, Jericho's going to dedicate his life to making Hunter's life such a hell as to trigger another heart attack to finish him off.
