He said this will be the last couple years of their career because he doesn't see himself touring Japan in five years, and they will have to decide wisely what they want to do regarding money and creative, therefore they asked for a maximum of four months off until April when they will have to make a decision where they are going. So they haven't decided yet but they are thinking about going wherever they get good money and feel they are creatively respected (he brings this up in reference to Vince's return) so they can have a good end to their career.

That's cause you are a moron. They're off so that they can't generate any buzz and to kill any momentum they could get before walking. It essentially a non-compete cause.

Remember FTR do not have a NDA with Tony and they can talk once their deal is done. This is Tony's way of trying to be nice so that don't air his dirty laundry after they exit. FTR don't care cause they're beaten up and want time off.
