>>8567104>>8567113The anime in Shippuden is poorly animated (especially the Sasuke vs Deidara arc and the Pain arc, two of my favorites sadly.) and plagued with filler arcs.
But at least they are entirely splitted from the canonical episodes, so with a good watching guidw you should be able to skip them all.
The manga instead is borderline unreadable in the last third of Shippuden. Kishimoto managed to somehow make filler-esque arcs in the manga.
