Realistically, as long as AEW is financially solvent no one is going to pull the plug. I don’t mean profitable, I mean just not losing money to the point that Tony needs to keep going to his dad for more. I’m pretty sure Shad has zero interest in grooming Tony to take over his multi-billion dollar bumper business or his major sports franchises. If that was the plan, he wouldn’t have funded the stupid wrestling project in the first place. Tony being distracted with AEW is best for everyone. It’s like when a mom buys her kid a new toy so he’ll play quietly by himself instead of bothering her while she tries to make dinner for everyone.
