It fit and matched Cena's character when he won the title in 2005, but they should've never made it the permanent design. It would've been like them turning Stone Cold's smoking skull title into the main look. It's stupid.

I was 12 when cena won and i immediately fell in love with s design, my dad bought me the belt. I never lik the other belts like d eagle with world or d gold round wcw belt. Spinner belt is pretty dope

It was a huge hit with kids and those plastic replicas sold like crazy to the lil' jimmies. I hated the design but it drew dimes so I have to respect it.
