>>8619623Oh she definitely should drop the title to Mizuki at GP. I wasn't arguing that: it just would definitely leave a power vacuum at the top of the company that I'd hope they would know how to fill properly (and not just lean on Miyu and Shoko again). There's so much talent that is ready to step up, and if Yuka leaves and forces the company's hand to go on without her for a while, it might not be the worst thing. If the storyline for the summer/TPC was "Miu/the next gen is pounding in the door, but Yuka isn't going to just let them in without a fight", it'd be a way for everybody to look good if Yuka just chose to travel and promote TJPW.
A Yuka IPC run wouldn't be the worst thing, esp if she's going to go international for a bit. Either her or Shoko could get the IPC and travel with it, becoming a TJPW grand slam champ. I know Shoko has talked about wanting to go back to Mexico and Europe and the US.
They might not give Yuka the IPC because she wouldn't be around enough to defend it in Japan, but it's supposed to be an international/traveling belt that just sorta became a midcard belt by default when nobody could leave the country. Maybe they add an actual midcard belt that favorites like Suzume and Pom could actually challenge for.
