>Wardlow loses to Samoa Joe and gets his hair cut off
>vanishes from TV without any explanation
>where did he go? what is he doing? it's a mystery
>no updates on him
>all on-air mentions of him just stop
>he's gone as if he never existed
>Joe loses the TNT title and vanishes just like Wardlow did
This fucking idiot has no idea how to tell serialized stories. Wardlow's storyline should have continued on the very next Dynamite after Joe beat him, the audience should have been told what Wardlow thinks and feels about losing and what he plans to do next. Or if he needed time off TV for personal reasons then at the very least he should have been written off Dynamite with an actual fucking explanation and there should be periodic updates on him to get people hyped for his return. But instead Tony just had Wardlow vanish into the void like he does to so many others. Back in the Attitude Era you had to keep tuning in to WWF and WCW to find out what was next for your favorite wrestlers. But in AEW your favorite wrestlers keep disappearing for weeks or months at a time so why even bother tuning in next week? This thread has no point I'm just seething about Tony's total incompetence at storytelling and lamenting the fact that AEW could be so much better than it is. Megamind deserves his streak.
