This. Rising Force is way better than any album the other two will ever release.

This is live in Denver and it's definitely Malmsteen. Otherwise Satriani. He's good at guitar but a terrible musician. Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing is really good from this show however.

Satriani is a guitarist for smarks. Everyone who learned to play guitar more than a hundred songs and understand music theory always gravitate towards praising Satriani but he writes unappealing scale wanking thats technically dazzling but comes off as a practice tape he recorded on a premade track, the band is separate from his performance.
Vai is a fucking weirdo who can keep himself relevant by leaning onto weird noises, self-enforced style changes and challenges and gimmicks. He is the confirmed Michaels.
Malmsteen is probably the worst player of the bunch but his ego and classical gimmick atleast draws the crowds
