Member when kane put undertaker in a casket and set it on fire? I was rewatching and saw that he first used an axe to break through the roof of the casket. I now understand that he did it to peek through and ensure carder wasn't actually still inside the casket and escaped through the set door, before he poured the gasoline and set it on fire.
