There was like a very brief period of maybe a month or two where their demo was close to Raw thanks to MNF and I think beating it once or twice but Tony promptly shit the bed completely and they never got close again.

AEW had its best year after covid because of Punk-Cole-Bryan debuting at the same time. Tony then completely butchered every single person here and AEW lost half of its young audience in one year.
