Seems like Eddie is taking over.
He turned heel at the taping and has a match with Jay coming up in San Jose. I'm guessing Eddie will challenge him for BC there.
Weird choice, but he's popular with the NJ brass and a lot of fans there... and he's got a huge following here.
Not as polished in the ring as former leaders but you can always bring some new guys in for high end matches.

It’s about damn time NJPW saw the writing on the wall and realize that white English speaking gaijins cannot be booked as leader of BC as the US will swipe them up eventually.
Each realizes that it’s better for their career to work in the west and IF they return, they’ll return being booked stronger because of their time away. Loyalists are punished. Naito was right.

If Jay leaves, they will have to give it to ELP to follow gaijin leader tradition. That's a death blow. ELP rules but rules as a midcarder. Gedo won't want to kill BC because it's still dimes but without a good leader it'll become a self parody. He should pray Vince releases half the WWE roster again and AEW can't sign them all. Someone like Dijak could be molded into a NJPW main eventer.

And it’s not working because the group is not allowed to build momentum and becomes weaker than the last incarnation. AJ’s rule was the one exception.
If the group is constantly imploding and starting from the bottom it goes nowhere. BC needs a real Jap leader not some fake sub division leader like Evil.

Just make ELP the leader as he's loyal and getting old anyway. They only need Bullet Club to exist for merch sales, they don't actively need them to be a threat. Suzuki-gun wasn't a threat aside from ZSJ doing well in tournaments, and they milked the corpse of SZKG for merch yen over the last six years. Now they have gaijin-focused stables that can do what BC started with United Empire and TMDK. Plus somehow fucking House of Torture apparently sells a ton of merch, so they have that too.

It’s literally just “Gaijin stable.”
But said stable cannot find any real momentum and winds up worse than the last version because the leader changes every few years and they need to scramble to re-book it. They need someone who can AT LEAST lead for a decade. Just make the leader some punk Jap surrounded by gaijins. It can still be the Gaijin stable.
