Rock winning the Rumble, the belts getting split is such a monkey paw. Cody will still win the WWE title but man, they have a perfect story to tell already. Rock will only be back to shill the XFL and put Roman over and then leave, doing next to nothing for the company. Ratings won't improve with Rock back, attendance is already high so he will do so little its not worth bringing him back. They can however, put Cody over huge and maybe make him a star, a name, an attraction to keep making money consistently for years.
Trust WWE to think that the story of a whitemeat babyface returning from injury to win the Rumble and challenge the top dog heel for all the gold for his family and daddeh is not worth pursuing.
