Sure Brock took offense a lot more than Goldberg, but to debut a night after WM18, win King of the Ring, beat Hogan, main-event SummerSlam against The Rock and win the WWE title in about 4 months on the main-roster while still going unpinned? I don't recall anyone, let alone a "rookie" get the sort of push out the gates.

And no, Angle's wasn't more impressive.

It was after his one Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker. Everything after was decent at best. Recently though, I'm thinking he's giving a little more of a shit. The Last Man Standing match at Summerslam was awesome.
