You can use a stable to elevate some talent that lacks that cutting edge promo but is a phenomenal worker, and vice versa, but a stable can't give bad talent a purpose or a reason to be on TV.
They used to be formed for major storylines but these days it always feels like a stable is formed to try and make meaningless characters another lease of life.
Case in point:
