That way we can finally get a culmination to the storyline when Mr. America, as part of the final five, rips off his mask and ends up winning through shenanigans, only for the match to decision to be reversed the next night on Raw since Hogan had already been eliminated earlier and reentered (Mr. McMahon is the one that delivers the news), which sets up a Final Four match at the next PPV to determine who gets the title shot at Mania. That match should at least include Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn btw.
I'll admit I'm a huge mark for that Final Four match in 1997 and would love to see the concept make a return. And it's been a while since we had a screwy Rumble finish. It would also let crowds pop for a Hogan win but have it not actually be a Hogan win because obviously Hogan shouldn't win clean nor should he face Roman.
