You'll notice that most of the memes that get over on /pw/ consist of the same picture and repeated phrases yet all the ones that get the most replies are things like lyrichad posts or threads containing actual humor. Most of the memes that you see here daily are being spammed by the same schizo night in and night out in an effort to make the meme part of "board culture". The funniest posts on /asp/ and /pw/ are largely forgotten because they aren't spammable.

Tony doesn’t seem flexible enough to adjust plans based on crowd reactions.
The TBS title is a prime example. It’s obvious he wants Kris Statlander to be the one who topples Jade. Every time Kris returns they tease it. But then Kris gets injured. So instead of going with a plan B, they tread water until Kris returns.
Yeah, he’ll relent eventually and he’ll put a belt on an over talent like Wardlow or Hook or most recently Hayter. But whenever they get the title, everything just stops and they return to the background while Tony gets distracted with his other pet projects.

I don't actually think that he gets bored or distracted. What I think it is is that he's trying to rapidly build a roster of names. So he'll push someone hard until they've hit a level he considers good enough before moving onto the next guy. So you get this constant series of mini-pushes that do raise the profiles of a lot of people who were practically unknowns a couple years ago, but leaves the overall presentation feeling really stilted and unsatisfying. He's not discarding toys. He's painting miniatures. Which is insufferable in a different way.

I don't think it really does, but I think it specifically because TK likes to use one angle to prime the audience for another a lot. Danielson and Page have a big time limit draw, then Punk vs MJF in Chicago that starts to look like it'll go to time, but doesn't.

The entire Jericho and Eddie feud was botched, from Eddie forgetting the blade at the top of the cage to just horrible match stipulations and botches.

Jericho really just need Hager, Menard and Parker. And even then, Parker is only there because Menard needs a tag partner.

Garcia is another dropped ball. They defied all odds and got him over with the Bryan story, only for it to just all go back to him staying with Jericho anyway and he lost all that over ness instantly. They keep teasing him turning traitor down the line, but nobody cares now.
And then there’s Anna Jay, who somehow feels like she’s managed to slip further down the card, and before this she was stuck in a directionless Dark Order!
