That was the last time they did any cohesive story

Now dynamite is filler every single week

PPVs I always try to watch but end up skipping through the boring self indulgent matches

Yup, matches for the sake of matches could work in ecw and even old Roh because they would beat the shit out of each other. They wrestle such a soft safe style and try to shame you into liking it because muh injuries muh cte. Well then do storylines to make the matches matter, if you lte just going to do match after match you’re going to have to go a lot harder than they do now. It just looks like slow methodical fake shit, even with all the dives and flips, they’re telegraphed, safe, slow moving. It looks fake as fuck and tacky.

I don’t watch anything on live tv. Last PPV I watched was Forbidden Door and I thought the quality of the presentation was terrible. It looked, sounded, and felt like an episode of Dynamite. I’ll watch Dynamite when AEW has a streaming deal, and I’ll rebuy their PPVs when they fix the shitty production or have a Kenny singles match.

For now, I just watch NJPW and occasionally WWE “PPVs” on peacock because I get it for free. Will never watch Raw or Smackdown though.
