We don't know if the universe is infinite, finite, expanding until will tear apart or if it's going to collapse on itself. If it's full of life or if there's nothing in it but is. There's not even a scientific consensus on why ice is slippery, but because human beings have been able to look out at telescopes and under microscopes for a couple of centuries and you can read about it on wiki you think you know anything about a universe that's billions of years old? Because we run experiments on the 5% of the universe we can see, you think you're in a place to dictate what is and isn't truth? Humans are so fucking self important

Non religious people don't believe in God because they only go off of what they see in there everyday life. If they don't see God being an omnipotent being in the sky watching over us 24/7, there not going to believe that They exist. Atheists don't care about religious zealots or how they live there lives. They believe that once our time is up on this Earth, that's the end over there existence. They don't feel scared or are nihilistic about this, they just view it as an inevitable part of life.

That being said, I believe in God. But I don't let that dictate how I behave. I try to live a thoughtful life and be kind to others IRL. I would be that way with or without a belief in God. Oh and I don't believe in religious institutions like Christianity, Islam, etc. I just know there's a Higher Power, and we can't begin to comprehend who They are or what They want. Best we can do is live our best life, and let whatever happens after death, happen.
