They're still putting up big numbers. Currently have a partnership with AEW and AAA and have been drawing similar attendance to NJPW. Miyahara is probably the best overall talent in Japan. Maybe only Gunther surpasses him on the international stage.

Yeah, Daniels is head of talent relations in AEW and FTR vs Aoyagi and Nomura is happening in March while Miyahara is expected to have a Takeshita type run this Summer in AEW.

Some of the Champion's Carnival shows did shitty numbers in fucking Shin-Kiba last year, they got outdrawn by a joshi deathmatch promotion there lol. They only do decent (not even good) numbers in Korakuen for special shows

AJPW was legitimately great from 2016-2019. But it couldn't last because ultimately the problem with every jap promotion except NJPW is that everyone eventually cycle through facing one another and its just diminishing returns. Plus they got some political issues in their fron office
