Meanwhile, name one of his colleagues who had a bad thing to say about him.

As for him not being a major draw, can't really argue with that. He was pretty good as a monster heel but got way too fat too soon into his run. Plus, any other monster heel could have taken his place. If Diesel had showed up a year earlier he could have had that spot. Or King Kong Bundy as well.

He eliminated himself in 1992 by jumping over the top rope like a goofy and Undertaker left the ring to get him back. Gorilla Monsoon tried to cover for it saying you can't eliminate yourself but others have eliminated themselves before and since. So his understanding of a battle royal has been shaky before this. Honestly, I think Randy thought this would look cool and got it approved even though it didn't make sense to go for a cover. I mean, it does show Yoko no sell a flying elbow drop by having enough strength left to launch a man out of the ring from his back. It sounds like something where you can make the positives outweigh the negatives during a pitch.

If that faggot didn't give Savage vs. Steamboat at Wrestlemania III 5 stars then he's a dumb faggot.
It's one of the greatest matches in Wrestlemania history and the best Wrestlemania match until Michaels vs. Razor or Bret vs. Owen at Wrestlemania X.

Plus, Savage had great matches over the IC Title with Tito Santana.

He's the greatest promo in history but completely overrated as a wrestler. He's supposed to be deuteragonist quality of a character and yet he did extremely boring chickenshit heel antics and barely did any actual wrestling moves. People who never heard of him before rightly wtf when they see what his finisher was.

Randy Savage was perfect at talking until the 90s but never in his career put on an in-ring performance that stands up to the people whose very reputation was built on that. I have no idea how he thought what he was doing was good considering how OCD he was about planning his matches. Did he really think it was wonderful for him to play a coward who gets his ass beat?

Almost nobody has a single bad word to say about Randy and even Hulk Hogan claims more or less he was his favorite adult friend he ever had, despite how much Randy publicly hated him for a while.

It can't just be blamed on his opponents not being good enough, but him not working how he should have. He should have done more "technical wrestling" (i.e. wrestling) and leaned more into the savagery / "rabidness" (both a la Chris Benoit but more unhinged) as he was wont to do. He should have played himself off as a final boss, not yet another random cocky cuckoo jobber.
