I would like to remind you all that kevin owens literally beat roman at the 2021 rumble and the ref had to get involved to get roman out of the handcuffs. kevin had him beat dead to rights and the ref stopped the count

They should have turned it into an angle of Heyman paying off that specific ref and doing a long angle about how he's in the Bloodline's pocket. Like Nick Patrick for the nWo.

Zero sum. Roman title defenses would be more believable if he was alternating which title he was defending like they started doing with the Usos. I could have bought Drew winning CatC if Roman had only been defending the WWE Title. I could believe KO wins at the Rumble via help from Sammy in the same scenario. But we know Roman/Rock and/or Roman/Cody have been the play for over a year. Since he's defending both belts it's been impossible to think he'd lose.

I have like a 1% chance of him winning in a mega-swerve because he's tied to Sami. Also possible he wins by DQ and that's the setup to something at elimination chamber.
