Jay in the Bloodline is kind of weird, though. Sami worked cause he was comedic and self aware about it as the white guy in the stable.
Jay would realistically have to be played straight and it wouldn't work nearly as well.

Loser Leaves Japan basically confirms he's WWE bound. If he were going to AEW, there wouldn't be such a stipulation, since it harms the relationship and will make the Jap fans bitter. They'd try to "ease" into it, at least. Make it a fake double contract, or hell, an actual double contract, why not? Tony already has so many fucking people in AEW that it's hard to imagine he wouldn't allow Jay to be in a good amount of dates in Japan. Kenny is different because he's one of his top top guys.

Eh, honestly I don't think just giving random "best" matches from someone has ever sold someone on a wrestler. Especially because with Jay, a lot of his promo work leading up and going after a match is a part of why he's so good. He's just as good at building up matches as he is at delivering on them.

But the standout best matches for me are Jay White VS Kota Ibushi at G1 Climax 29, Jay White VS Tetsuya Naito at Wrestle Kingdom, and the double feature that is Him VS Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 13 followed by him VS Okada at the ROH/NJPW super show. A perfect story told in those two matches that were one shortly after the other.

That's what should be why anyone is good. Tonbe a good match it needs to tell a story, creating context for the story is part of the story. Guys who just do shit are the problem right now. Jay is good because he actually does it properly.
