The dude had ideas that drew more dimes than anyone ever drew, but he had no plan after that. He never considered the long-term effects of how he was running the business. He only saw the pop that Goldberg got, he never stopped to think about where he could go, long-term with Goldberg. As good as the NWO was, he had to let Steve Austin, HHH, Mankind, Jericho, Eddie, Chris Benoit, Dean Douglas (stellar ECW work), Brian Pillman, and pretty much the entire Attitude Era walk from his company. He handed Vince the long-term win for some temporary ratings wins.
