He was a wrestler and a comedian. He's leg broke so he went comedy full time for years and got mega over. He was a media franchise at one point. His popularity waned but he's still around and he does some funny shit sometimes. He got back into wrestling but he's not a big deal anymore.

Still pissed that the site that hosted all the English fansubs disappeared and no archive exist. I have like five or six of the DVDs which they bothered to officially sub, but there are around 100 or so events to the entire promotion.

Still makes me kek watching Goldberg and Takada talk at each othering in English and Japanese respectively like they actually knew what the other was saying.

They were the guys that originally translated the Gaki No Tsukai New Years specials back in the day and had a separate site for hosting the Hustle fansubs. As the GNT team gradually change over the years the original guys that were into HUSTLE ended up just drifting away as people from Reddit moved in and the people from Reddit didn't care to keep hosting HUSTLE so they let the domain drop and deleted the fan subs. Can't remember for the life of me what the Hustle site was called, but I remember checking the internet archive and the download links were broken.

She was part of the Golden Generation of AJW trainees in 86. Something like 2000+ girls tried out and only 8 made the cut. That class was so good that Megumi Kudo the Deathmatch Queen was told that she would never be able to become a wrestler and was forced to retire. What an embarrassment of riches.

He was the physical guy while RG was the actual comedy guy. It's like COCORICO. Tanaka was the tall boke who had good reactions and could carry the physical comedy while Endo was the little dude who is quick on his feet and could brutally banter as the tsukkomi.

Sure Tanaka is more over for his reactions and everyone loves to see him get THAI KIKKU OUTTO, but when it comes to actually being funny Endo completely mogs him.

Without wrestling or the Hard Gay gimmick HG Razer Ramon doesn't really have anything going for him.

He still had to resort to teaming up with other comedians like Matsuko Deluxe to build himself up until he could stand on his own. Beat Takashi just threw his nuts out to the wind and could work solo, as a duo, as an ensemble. He could work in front of the camera, behind, and simply on the mic. The guy is a natural comedic genius as well as an observer of human behavior.

Hiroiki Ariyoshi is 30 years to early to be compared to Takashi Kitano.
