You know, I never really got the whole Cody thing. All I saw and heard was him invoking the spirit of his dead father to the point of almost resurrecting him. Then came the whole Stardust thing, then AEW and the whole throne smashing thing that made him look petty, then his reality show and that cringy ass tattoo, then saying he wanted to run for president one day, then the flaming table spot, that triple threat match in Japan that he was the worst part of, and then he goes back to WWE and literally wins everyone over with a torn pectoral muscle.
Looking back on all that shit, you can really see how it was him with the ambition, the determination and the willpower to actually go through with another federation of their own and he really was oneo fthe main ones to push to make it work. And not just work, but to try and expand its influence and reach and get the brand name out there. A reality show may sound crigne, but the fact he got it off the ground and on the air for a brief time showed how hard working he really is when he believes in something.
I'm still on the fence about Cody, I hope he does well and I sincerely hope he wins the Rumble and if he does, I have a further few months till Mania to change my mind.
