He hates different things about WWE and AEW.
He hates that WWE is boring, sanitized and everything is written by a room full of people who don't even like wrestling.
For AEW, he hates the Indy shitters that refuse to do anything to get better and all the illogical booking.
His attacks on AEW tend to get more personal because it's easy to single out individuals that are dragging the show down. That causes a lot of hurt people feelings.
Also AEW die-hards can't fathom that people outside of their bubble don't like the things they like.

AEW has more fans per capita that tolerate NO criticism. You can't even talk about what talent they should bring in cause the roster is already perfect. Or compliment someone on improving because they were always good.
When it comes to Jim Cornette in particular. There are people who think they like good wrestling, when in fact they just are desperate for wrestling that's not WWE, but won't do the footwork to watch indies or international wrestling. So when you have actual criticism on the in ring ideology of AEW, they aren't prepared to actually counter it. They'll shout that people thought Ric Flair was too flashy or that the irish whip is fake, but they'll never engage in the actual criticism or give an explanation why they like a match beyond that they "just like it".
Like they could argue that the lack of consistent selling or psychology in near all AEW matches gives them the ability to be more dynamic as it allows anything to happen at any given moment. Not sure how they would defend matches stopping dead in their tracks to guys can visibly help each other to get into place for a spot though.
