i actually feel the same way as OP, Cody is doin pretty good, it is what it is.
The problem is that people compare how things are to how good things could and Should be, Especially if you have a million dollar creative team writing your stories.
In order for Cody to be accepted, the story line is going to have to pretty damn good in the next few months.
And another problem is that if his story doesnt reach Sami's, he is trouble.
He already cant reach Samis talent, in ring or on the mic, and talent is already a major factor in creating good stories.
We'll see.
But as usual people dont have any expectations of WWE creative, other than expecting mediocrity or below.
