As a Oldfag, I do love the revisionist history that the smaller, "missed-used" guys who jumped ship (Jericho, Benoit, Saturn, Malenko) were treated better. Benoit was the only one that I'd say was a upper-card guy. Wrestled (and lost) to Triple H in his first WWE match, beat The Rock (due to shenanigans) on an episode of RAW, won the Intercontinental title 3x, main-evented two PPVs (Fully Loaded and Unforgiven) both with falseflags of him winning the WWE title.
Jericho's best year in WWE was 01 after WCW was closed.
