>>8805303his constant botching for a year+ was so terrible
every time it shattered my suspension of disbelief
it's ironic in his meltdown he shat on the elite for not running the business seriously - because he did more for people to not take aew seriously than anyone
you can expect lots of botches form the tryhard nobody cruiserweights (not excusing it, it's cancer, but in a company where it's excused, fine, those jobber nobodies will botch often when it comes to their increasingly overly ambitious spots)
but you don't expect that from your heavyweights, your main eventers, your world heavyweight champion, someone with so much supposedly 'beneficial experience', a 'wise old head' who can lead the flock by example. he botched just as much as the flippyshit young jobbers. and there was never any self-reflection, never any thoughts of
>hmmm, i was never the most athletic guy to begin with, i got over on character work, i botched a lot in wwe, then ive been away from the ring for 8 years, my bones and joints and ligaments and tendons and muscles are all 8 years older, and im botching even more than i did in wwe, maybe i should rein it in, maybe i should cut down on the stuff thats more likely to lead to a botch, especially if i wanna lead by example as the world champ and show the chuds how to run a business? nope he just kept on doing it. went even harder, arguably.
pure cancer
