Flair had a deal where he could walk if unhappy. Vince could've been a dick and said no but Flair probably would've just sat home. Savage is retarded though, no idea why Vince benched him for so long especially since he was willing to put over both Bret and Shawn

The only one that would've sinked WWF had he not left would've been Hogan. Guys like Savage had no issue putting others over if it made sense and helped business. He wanted to put Shawn, Bret, Razor, and Nash all over at one point, and he definitely would've put Austin and Rock over.

Reminder that "Viewers Added Per Segment" is a fucking retarded metric because the viewer had no idea who would be on which show when.

We all flipped around constantly. You could do things like trying to catch the WWF main event because you liked the Austin angle or whatever, but it was impossible to time certain things or predict when they would be on.

It was more like we'd try and predict around when you knew big important things would happen on the show which was like -- start of the show, start of the second hour, and the end of the show.
