Very disrespectful. Disco was an enjoyable gimmick performer who fans reacted to during the Monday Night War. Don't believe? go back & watch the footage. He was a fixture on TV during the peak popularity of the industry. He was a WCW Cruiserweight and WCW Television champion. He had main event TV matches against likes of Ric Flair and Bret Hart. Scott Hall was such a fan of Disco he requested to work with him. Disco consequently became Hall's on screen lackey. They had great chemistry. Disco was on the WCW creative team. He was an agent in TNA. He's a trainer in Las Vegas (his most successful student probably being Karrion Kross).
Whether people like it or not, he's liked & respected by guys like Chris Jericho (who has publicly defended Disco on Twitter), Kevin Nash, Rey Mysterio, & MJF. Disco also has a pretty good podcast with Lucha Libre powerbroker, Konnan. I enjoy Disco's podcast and opinions a lot.
It's kinda funny how he works people so badly on things he says that aren't even that controversial. I think he's often unfairly criticized and somewhat of an easy target. So I just created this account to defend him a little.
