There's a very endearing aspect in Santo's movies: he may fight dracula, he may save the world from aliens, he may defeat whatever supernatural bullshit comes against him... But the most important thing for him is wrestling. Most of his movies end with a wrestling match either against a nemesis or for the championship. So in the end Santo may be a superhero but he'll always be a wrestler in the first place.
