VF was always good though, it just became irrelevant because Sega rode VF5 too long since they were shitting the bed and had no interest in anything that wasn't Yakuza or Sonic related.
Tekken was the more stylized and noob/button mash friendly option. You can mash and string something together in Tekken while mashing in VF will get you killed against anyone okay at the game.

Eh, ECW didn't "put out" the games, they just let Acclaim pay them for the license. They're just reskinned versions of WWF Attitude. Any game that has fucking Gabe Sapolsky as an unlockable character has to be dog shit.

Warzone create a wrestler wasnt shit lol. The acclaim games had amazing CAWs, it was one of the best features of those games. It was mindblowing at the time. Warzone/attitude had the best CAW ever until smackdown just bring it

They actually agreed to a three game deal and never made it to the third, which ended up as Legends of Wrestling. The games were only marginally improving with each entry but the funding did keep the company alive a little longer if nothing else. On the surface though ECW was a polished TV product by their end, JCW is a better example of a total shindy getting 2 games
