NWO is probably the most recognizable wrestling faction in the history of the business. NWO had mainstream appeal but DX also did on a lesser level. DX was over, you can't deny that and I'm a WCW chad from way back. Having said that, you're right because DX was not on the same level as NWO.

No one did. We saw DX then the way we see the Acclaimed now. And we saw NWO then the same as MJF and Hangman Page now. The DX nonsense was midcard shit while the NWO, MJF, and Hangman were/are fueding for the top prize. Simple.

It's not even close, everything in WCW ran through the NWO. DDP and Crow Sting was directly connected to NWO, the only exception is maybe Goldberg, but even his build might be considered as a savior build for WCW

While at WWE, Austin, Rock. Foley, Taker and even Vince all could have storylines with each other without a hint of DX and the company would have been fine
