It's the angle that exposed Michaels as a complete lifetime faggot for me.
Stone Cold had the most momentum of any wrestler ever -- he was white hot, forget red hot, and Michaels did everything he could to try and bury Austin in the feud itself. It just never ever worked because Austin was on such a meteoric rise.
This feud could've been anyone and it would've done the same thing for Austin -- Shawn was just a guy who was there in the way.
But what REALLY made me hate Shawn Michaels as a shoot is the Wrestlemania match. Mother fucker comes out with his back all taped up and he goes out of his way to sell how hurt he is before the match even starts -- grabbing his back and wincing and shit.
Why the fuck did he do this? Why, you ask?
Because he refused to put Austin over cleanly. He had to let everyone know that even though he was putting over the most WHITE HOT fucking guy EVER, he was only losing because he was "hurt."
