There's almost nothing they could do to get me watching Rampage every week again. They got rid of the mat decal, the stage is exactly the same as Dynamite even after the revamp. The ropes look exactly the same, the crowd is deflated.

this is something that's honestly really important that got diluted in like the mid 2010s in WWE and that AEW never had at all
90s/2000s WWE had great wrestling but it was almost all on PPVs. it was a noteworthy event when somebody had a really good match on TV, because that's not what TV is for. it's for building heat for when you try on the PPV

3 hours of storyline with 15 minutes of matches is infinitely superior to 3 hours of matches with 15 minutes of storyline. WWE is garbage but their strategy of barely featuring any wrestling on their shows obviously works considering they curbstomp AEW in the ratings every week.
