He broke away from the Elite to the extent that you could tell which parts of the show was booked by whom, the effect getting dubbed Cody Island. The real messed up thing about Cody Island is that is encompassed people not interacting with Cody such as Darby Allin, MJF, Ricky Starks, and other of that sided with him over the Bucks (Kenny is too cocky to have friends backstage that he didn't bring with him.)
