it's weird that NOTHING from his "news career" actually exists. and nobody remembers seeing him as a news reporter. it's like he made it up, george santos style. not saying that's what happened but it's very odd.

all major news stories of the 90s that Michael Cole claims he covered under his real name Sean Coulthard for radio and TV. there's countless hours of footage of these stories on the internet archive and elsewhere. but nowhere is there audio or video of Cole covering these stories. also no one who worked in news at that time recalls working with a Michael Cole or Sean Coulthard.

Some book was published in 1999, 'News In A New Century' written by Jerry Lanson and Barbara Croll Fought. The book mentions a few quotes from Cole (using his real name, Sean Coulthard), see pic related
