This was a part of the MJF v Cryan gauntlet, there was little to no chance he'd be booked to win in the first place, the main event is Cryan going against MJF for the PPV and building up to that. Fact that this match was better than Cryans last one and Rush is a midcard heel thats been feature week after week doesn't lower him at all unless Tony completely forgets to book him again and give him wins on TV.
