One idea that I've had floating around is having a wrestling show that is written and presented more like a tv drama, instead of a live show every week. Lucha underground had the right idea in making it episodical with multiple seasons, instead of a long-running weekly presentation like WWE or AEW.

>there would be a set number of episodes, say 12-18 a season
>can have bloodline seasoon, cody season, invasion season, etc.
>a season runs for x amount of months, that way you can create character arcs that actually feel built up, rather than marks making up their own stories
>said marks are less likely to influence the show
>as for live shows and ppvs, they still happen but less frequently, and when they do happen, it serves as a season finale

wrestling needs to change in a way that it can maintain longevity and interest, and making it into a non-live written show is the best way possible.
