Thumbtack spots are lame in general.
It's a cool visual effect, so find if you want to have a match where there's a bunch of thumbtacks laying around cool.
But it's retarded to go out of your way to use them. It's not going to knock someone out to help you get the pin it's just fake and gay.

There's really two PWGs.
