He is the last Vince golden boy and the only guy who pinned him clean was Bork and Architect Seth. He's at the same age as Cody (37) and Cody has been handed a main event title scene out of contract courtesy, otherwise he wouldn't have returned to the WWE if his push/title win wasn't guaranteed.
Neither nu-Cody or even Sami should pin a dominant gigaheel like Roman, he should instead job to whomever is the newest young WWE ace. Sami will return to just being a comedy jobber/KO fodder in 3 months while Cody's muh daddeh shtick is already grating and stale.
If they really need to get the titles off him, have Cody pin Sami and keep Roman strong.
