The Bucks have not worked a single angle in aew that wasn't with omega and hangman about friendship, or the Jericho stadium stampede thing that was Cody's feud that he vanished out of because of whatever drama they had going on, and there was no real logic behind that at all, it was just Matt Hardy doing magic for no reason. Every other programme they have done was just matches with implied heat with ftr and the lucha bros. They have done nothing else that you could call a programme.
There is a 0% chance that they would be willing to do anything with Punk that wasn't them standing around somewhere trying to look cool and put themselves over.

In his report about the fight, they were naming everyone who was involved and then suspended and Meltzer kept interrupting to say that Chuck Taylor was there too, automatically outing Dustin as being on the scene, which none else reported, because Chuck is the person he heard from. They did have that thing though where they beat Jurassic Express for the belts despite not really feuding with them, then they pushed Tony to break up Jurassic Express because they were more over than them, then after they broke up Jurassic, they buried Jungle Boy's singles career and Luchasaurus was never seen again.
