I don't watch WWE, but the guy seems like he's getting established and getting pops for his finish while people learn who he is. Literally the exact same thing that was done to him in New Japan. You establish a guy then have him get wins that matter.
I get that some people (especially AEW trannies, for some reason) really want him to be a failure and a jobber so that they can laugh at how he was a retard for signing with them again, but they're trying to force it. Wait until it actually happens.
Also, his win against Okada was impressive and the guy was booked very strongly in the G1, but Okada did get his win back a few months later.
