He's just not a good wrestler and his characters require stilted matches with weird gimmicks that don't really make sense AS WRESTLING MATCHES because they're trying too hard to be a deep horror story. Take him off tv again, in 2 months let him do spooky vingettes, promos and lights out spooks for 2-3 months, win at ppv in mediocre/bad match, repeat the cycle.
You know how there are some babyfaces that lose their shine after winning the big one? Bray is that for wrestling in general. He stops being anything other than crap as soon as the bel rings.
