My take is that WWE fans are generally kinda dumb, and easily impressed by flashing lights etc. This specifically goes for the /asp/ and /pw/ people who just spam "nujamal" or "tranny" in lieu of actually making a good point. It's not big and it's certainly not clever and actually serves to make you look moronic.
AEW fans are insufferable smug pseuds who think they are a higher breed of wrestling fan, but are just as easily worked by the way AEW brands itself as the "cool billionaire' promotion. As someone who was a TNA fan in the 2010s and had to put up with bad faith tribalism from WWE fans, my impression is that most of those fans moved from WWE to AEW, and that's the VDS is strong.
