Historically speaking, you literally only need one hot main event storyline to turn business around but while that sounds like a modest goal, 99% of the wrestling companies in the world are failing at that, especially AEW.

Yeah it’s called long term storytelling. Not everything needs to be revealed within a week or two. Think about this: The Undertaker wrestled in WWE for about a decade before we got to hear his backstory and origin. That was also good long-term storytelling. AEW’s stories are like the fever dreams of a homeless crackhead.

Where he will go next, Mexico? I doubt Jericho wants to go back to WWE considering that he already accomplished everything that he wants there, and everything else are just AEW feeders. Propping up a decent promotion from scratch is probably more fulfilling option for him at this point.
